Beta guide
Start small. Check the source.
A good first session uses invented material and a question with a known answer. Features differ by device. iPhone and iPad testing is ongoing.
Before a first session
Planned The first people invited are teachers and other adults (18+). No minors. Do not use student records or classroom recordings. Use a short invented note, or non-sensitive material you own and have permission to test.
Eligible countries have not been established. Teacher participation does not mean a school has endorsed the app or allowed student information to be shared.
Requires a recent version of macOS, iOS or iPadOS. Some Apple on-device AI features need the latest OS and an eligible device. A simulator check is not the same as testing on a physical iPhone or iPad.
Mac, iPhone and iPad
Mac
Text, images, and short video
- Workspaces, chat, citations, Personal Skills, and Review & Learn are in the app.
- Images and short video work on supported Macs with Gemma 4 (E2B) and are still being tested. Video uses a few sampled frames.
- Experimental training is Mac-only. It needs at least 32 GB of memory, Pro, and your consent each time. The result is saved privately and stays switched off.
iPhone and iPad
Shared study tools, separate limits
- Workspaces, local review and Personal Skills are in the shared app.
- Testing on real iPhones and iPads is not done yet.
- Planned Image and video on iPhone and iPad are not available yet. Text chat still depends on the model and the device.
The app does not silently switch to a cloud model. Optional cloud review, outside AI accounts, Apple or Google sign-in, Google Drive and plugins are not available yet.
What this guide does not promise
This is preparation for a pre-release beta, not proof of a public release, a finished feature set, or a price you can pay today. The privacy policy and terms of use are published separately. This page is not that policy.
A beta app is not a backup and not academic advice. Keep your original files, verify generated answers, and follow your institution's rules for AI use.
